Basic explanation of the default tabs

Default tabs/job detail

When a job type is created, Motivity builds a full set of default mobile workflow screens, and each screen comes with default tabs.

A tab's Type (shown in the Type column on the Tabs page) is what decides what the tab does.

This guide explains the standard screens and the tabs you'll typically see.

The default workflow screens

Screens are grouped on the job type's Mobile Workflows box:

Travel Screens

Start Travel – engineer confirms they're setting off; captures start-travel time.

Travelling – shown while en route; includes job detail and a map. Confirm Arrival – engineer confirms arrival on site.

Work In Progress Screens

No Access – used when the engineer can't get access; captures date/time and reason.

Start Work – engineer confirms they're starting the work.

On Hold – put the visit on hold. (This screen can't have new tabs added.)

On Site – the main working screen; this is where most tabs live (detailed below). After Work

Screens

Travel From Job – captures travel after leaving site
