Questions that engineers answer on the mobile app live inside tabs. Tabs sit inside a mobile workflow screen (e.g. the On Site screen).
So to add your own questions you first add a tab, then add questions to that tab.
1. Open the job type's workflow
1. Go to System Settings → Job Types.
2. Click the job type's name to open its detail page.
3. Scroll to the Mobile Workflows box. It lists the workflow screens, grouped into Travel Screens, Work In Progress Screens and After Work Screens
(e.g. Start Travel, On Site, Travel From Job).
4.Click the folder icon next to the screen you want to add questions to. For most on-the-job questions this is On Site.
You're now on the workflow's Tabs page
2. Add a new tab
1. Click + New Tab (top-right of the Tabs box).
2. Fill in the tab form:
Name – the tab title engineers see (required).
Tab Type – choose Questions Tab for a normal set of questions. (Other types pull in fixed system content — see Basic explanation of the default tabs.) Max Count – optional; only relevant for repeating tabs.
Visible If – optional condition to show/hide the tab.
PDF Field Prefixes – None, or Prefixed with Tab Name to prefix this tab's answers in PDF field mapping.
Faster Answer Updates – Yes sends answers as soon as the engineer leaves the page.
Add questions to the tab
1. On the Tabs list, click the folder icon on your new tab's row to open it.
2. You'll see two panels: Toolbox (left) and Questions (right).
3. Add a question either by: clicking the + next to a question type in the Toolbox, or dragging a question type from the Toolbox onto the Questions panel.
The Toolbox offers a large range of question types — text, numeric, dropdown, checkbox, yes/no variants, date/time, photo, signature, sketch, calculation, and more.
4. Set the question's text and options, then save
Managing tabs
On the Tabs page each tab row has toggles for:
Must complete to continue / Must complete to finish – force the tab to be completed.
Visible – show or hide the tab.
Faster Updates – the same as the setting above.
You can also reorder tabs, edit them (pencil), or delete them (trash). Use Paste to paste tabs previously copied from
