General (Office and Mobile Apps)
Backup PDF Job Sheets to your Local Server and Cloud Storage (such as Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive)
We’ve produce a small utility which can be installed on a computer or server on your own premises.
When activated this will automatically download copies of every completed PDF job sheet into a nominated folder.
The folder structure can be simple or more complex saving into different subfolders per customer / site etc.
If you use Google Drive or OneDrive you can then configure their own utilities to back up this folder into the cloud too.
E-mail reminders for Scheduled Jobs
Configure these to be sent straightaway or 24 hours prior to the appointment

Hide warranty and serial number columns if not needed
Customer Equipment Portal
Add QR codes to your equipment. Customers can scan and see info about that equipment.
OFFICE
New option to allow to specify what equipment attributes are mandatory office or mobile.
So if setting up new assets you can leave out serial number so engineer is forced to fill this in on their next visit.

If using locator the current location is shown on map

Dragging and dropping multiple jobs on calendar quickly would sometimes make it lock up requiring page refresh to unlock.

Those customers who manage their own job types / mobile workflow there has also been new options to bulk update question.
For example, updating multiple questions to be ‘mandatory’ in one go rather than having to do this on each one individually.
Mobile – Android & iOS
Yes-no bypass questions can now have a default answer of yes or no (to save engineer having to tap on it)
Parts Required – no longer possible to add a required part unless you specify a quantity

Date picker – after selecting a date to fill in a date field, the picker would then fill in the field with day before. (i.e. you picked 23/03/25. It would fill in 22/03/25)

Important Notice to users of older iPhone / iPad Devices
In order for us to keep up-to-date with iOS devices and security patches it means that we will be ending support for devices that are using iOS 14 or lower. This is the last major update we will be doing for these devices. After this the oldest device you can use with Motivity will be the iPhone 6s running iOS 15.
