On Motivity, you can move the jobs across and then delete the duplicate. Here's the process:
1. Pick which site to keep
Decide which of the two duplicates you want to keep. It can help to temporarily rename it (e.g. add "KEEP" to the site name) so it's obvious which one is which while you're working.
2. Move the jobs across
For each duplicate site you want to get rid of:
- Open the site and click the Jobs tab.
- For each job listed:
a. Click the Job Number to open the job detail view.
b. Click Edit Job Details at the top of the page.
c. Click the pencil icon next to the site name and change it to the site you're keeping.
d. If the customer name differs between the two sites, update that as well.
e. Save.
Repeat until every job has been moved off the duplicate.
3. Delete the empty duplicate
Once no jobs are attached to the duplicate site:
- Go to Sites at the top of the screen.
- Find the duplicate site(s) you no longer need.
- Click the delete button on the right-hand side of the row.
