You may experience a situation where the same item of equipment is created more than once at a site. For example if it is noted down with different names / spelling mistakes etc.
There is a way you can merge duplicates into just one item of equipment (and retain all history).
From the equipment list or site equipment list just click on the equipment item that you want to keep.
Then press the down arrow near the top where it says ‘Edit Equipment Details’ and choose Merge.
Now choose the equipment that you effectively want to remove from the system and merge in with the current one.
It will keep any existing site history.
