If you are using Motivity Workforce linked to SAP Business One then it important that you initially add engineers through SAP B1 itself.
From the SAP B1 main menu, choose Human Resources -> Employee Master Data and add engineers here.
For the link to map the engineers across to Motivity, it is important that you:
Give the engineer an e-mail address
Assign them a 'Technician' role
Complete all UDF fields on right hand side are completed
